I had a pair of Apistogramma baenschi and the female died recently. I however have a lone Apistogramma cacatuoides female that I added to the tank and they started to dance together is it possible that they might breed? Also is there any apisto species that could hybridise. What would help induce them to spawn? Live food? I'll be adding some alder leaves soon to add some more tannins. I hope that the pvc pipe I've got in there will be used as the spawning site. Any more advice that people could give me? I don't have the water chemistry but I could get it tested and get back to you all here.

Oh no not this guy again
