Hey Reva

Both are members of the large cyprinid (Cyprinidae) family so are cousins.

Regards David

my new little comets are waiting for me to fix up their home. They are temporarily in Hotel Parrot Cichlid, the friendliest hotel in town, along with some rosey barbs and tiger barbs. they look so much alike in many ways. I didnt have time to look it up, but I thought they were in a similar group. thanks David

Hey Reva

Hotel Parrot Cichlid sounds very interesting. Do you have a digital photograph?

Regards David

have friend with good camera... /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> I cant seem to take a decent pic of my fish with what I have to work with, but as soon as I have time to make a luncheon for a friend, she has promised to take some good pics of them for my pet sitting business homepage (in the making)
The P's are always curious about a new addition (as long as they are small and not going to bully them LOL) I am in a quandry about the P's as they are outgrowing their tank (208liter). They seem happy, but I need a bigger tank or a person with a big tank who would love them /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

Hey Reva

Don't rush into a 'new person' for the Parrots as you may regret parting with your 'friends'. They are such characters.

Regards David
