Per chance, does anyone here know about them?

I saw them for the first time yesterday and did a bit of googling... the fish seems to be the African analogue of Lizard Loaches in Asia and Twig plecos in S.America... in fact, until I noticed the barbels I thought this was a Stirusoma :Embarassed body shape, markings etc. are quite similar, cf.

Per forum discussions elsewhere it seems that the fish was not bred in aquarium and in fact keeping them alive for long is nearly impossible.... this makes me wonder what would happen if I were to put them into my sturisoma fry raising tank (30 breeder, rivertank, full of oxygen and algae)...ought to be the ideal setup... and the fish I saw was small (<3"), so I see little danger... not sure I will actually go ahead with this, but if I can find out how to sex them, I'll think about this more seriously...
