Fantastic mate, ablsolutely stunning. /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> They also look different to the fish I had. There's a lot more black on the fins and head, and your males seem to have some lighter vertical bars on the body? We never did decide if mine were albimarginata or channoides... /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

These photos were taken about a day after i got them Matt /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> .And the tanks use were temporary tanks for the primas.I ll try to take a few more later with the leaf litter and plants.Perhaps we can see more color then /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> .

Yes Keith, they are lovely /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> .What i noticed about the albi and coccina group is that they prefer leaf litter in their tanks.Sometimes i cut some of the tree roots from their habitat. These makes nice addition to the decor in their setup /thumbs_up.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="thumbs_up.gif" /> .For food,i feed these groups only on BBS /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> .

i use oak and almond leaves, also rainwater as my tap water is very hard,ph is around 5.6 so i will try and drop it a little further. they all look great, just no spawning activity.

Thats great Keith. For breeding,i prefer to get at least 3 pairs. In case of compatibility problem,it will be easier to switch pairs. For albis group,i usually just chuck them all together in a tank.Best of all, these fishes do not eat their fry.

i could only get hold of 2 pairs at the beginning of the year, so i'm hoping i may be able to get a few more soon.

Stunning looking fish there. It's a real shame they're not seen more frequently here. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

And, good look Keith. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

it's the price that puts people of Jared, i could have got a pair cheap at £45 the pair.
but i should imagine in some shops it would be double that price.
