I was looking through my photos and found some photos of these fish I used to have. the first two are of a male Betta strohi, and the second two of a male Betta mandor. Hope they're useful!

Hi Enda thank you very much and we'll definitely use them. After reading everything I could get my hands onI'm still unsure as to how this group is differentiated from one another though... /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

Ha ha, I can't either! These fish were ID-ed with the help of folks here and at Petfrd. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

That's good enough for me. Will add them tomorrow. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Think strohi is one we don't currently cover though...

Yeah and there are some supposed differences in caudal fin morphology which seem to fit in with Enda's pics. Check here Karlos. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yup I think that's how they were ID-ed the last time. This is the original thread at petfrd: here
