I've just picked up two pairs of these today. Has anyone kept them before?

I've just had a quick look to see if they've been bred in captivity but so far can't find any info. They're going into quarantine this afternoon, and then a South Sarawak species biotope I think. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Matt, I did notice these were not in the KB. If you like I'll email you pics should you ever add them. There's not a massive amount of info online it would seem.

Hi

I had ten of them a couple of months back to sell on. I started off with all ten in the one tank but as they sold I had to eventually out them into a 14x8x8 tank each. They were fairly aggressive to each other as the numbers dropped

easy to sex them as the males had red bellies

fed them on earthworms and raw prawns, no problem there

kept them at 25C and pH 5.5

nice wee fish /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Cheers

This is one of the red-eyed species, isn't it?
