Hey

Once the culture is up-and-running use dog biscuits to keep both the culture fed and the odour down.

Is that true David? I don't mean to doubt you, but I've never fed or heard of feeding microworms anything other than the oat culture they are kept in? You learn something new every day!

What sort of dog biscuits? I'm assuming just the cereal mixer rather than the "complete" ones?

i've heard of tusing dog biscuits as well, another mate uses with the ready brek some natural yogurt.
it does'nt help the smell but the worms multiplied alot quicker than usual.

it's like ready prepared porridge, all you do is add hot water and stir. and add salt.

Go to any german brand supermarket, like LIDL or Aldi, and you should find oats there, even in DIA.

I don´t know if any of those are close to where you live...

Good luck with these.

By the way: oats = "avena" in spanish, just in case you have to ask for them.

You should get "harina de avena" at diet shops and places like that (Naturhouse, Santiveri or similar).

Yes just the standard oval or bone looking dog biscuits, that come in a variety of colours, you can purchase loose at various pet shops. The fish don't mind the yellow, orange whatever colour microworms that start crawling up the sides of the margarine tub. Microworms are just microworms to fish.
