Hi everyone /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I have a dwarf anubias in my goldfish aquarium and I was wondering what you might recommend to keep algae from growing on it? So far, I just rub the algae off with my fingers when I can.

I cannot imagine it is too happy covered in brown algae /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

Thanks so much,
WaterRaven

Do you have other plants in there as well?

Algae will always grow when there is an imbalance in the tank - usually too much light in aquariums. If there is too much of something and not enough plants to use it then algae will take advantage.

You usually get the brown algae in new tanks and it disappears after a while. I've found either kitchen paper, or the Tetra aquarium wipes are great for removing it from smooth leaved Anubias.
