Hmm links to PB should work - I use it myself. Nik kindly sent some of the images to me a couple of days ago so here's the badid:

The badid you mean? It could be you meant the loaches or other fish? No, haven't seen the badid before. It got collected later by a member of IAH, though.

Hi Guys,

Here is an updated pic of the same fish. Sorry for a blurry pic. The largest fish in this group is just over an inch.

The lack of flank markings is intriguing. Juvenile/subadult patterning perhaps?

Matt I would say these are sub adults as the largest ones caught were considerably large but we released them back at that time. The particular rive where these were found is very untouched and we have found a few species of interest. Lovely loaches as well. Have a trip planned sometime in the next 2 weeks so will update here with pics when that happens. We collected about 3-4 varieties of Crypts as well. One which has spots on the leaves.

But I have not seen any markings even when stressed.

Thanks for the info Nik - looking forward to seeing what you find next time!

Did you get any pics of the habitat?
