I have been trying to get a decent shot of one of these fast moving
fish for a while now, so far this is the best I have done.

That's awesome Mike, really fantastic image. Only thing that would improve it would be the caudal being in focus.. but it doesn't detract from the image. Great work yet again /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Great photo Mike /thumbs_up.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="thumbs_up.gif" />

I was having difficulty getting photos of my Danio Maegahalayensis but ended up altering a couple of settings on my Nikon D40 and got some good shots, I altered the focus to auto and set it to continuous servo focusing and set it to constant shooting and basically followed a fish with the button pressed taking tons of photo's and quite a few came out nicely.

The other method is to remove them to a photo tank which I got very good results with but less natural.
