as you can see it's a different colour from it's siblings.do i separate him or use him for breeding??

if you want to get the gold strain, I'd put him with females only if he's a male and let him mate them

I´d strongly recommend not breeding with that in order to keep the strain pure.

Sorry Karlos I wasn´t very clear - I mean I see no reason to attempt to fix a new strain of this species based on what appears to be a genetic abnormality. It´s highly endangered and should be preserved.

I do like the colouration!but i think that the preservation and conservation are also important.thats why i'm asking advice

are these true Vladykovi the same as in the UK they seem rather more gold than ours?

They look like young fish, maybe it´s just a male colouring up to breed, so it should be it´s normal colour (even pale yellow so far).

Are those vladykovi?

Bought some eggs at Hayling island in october off TDC and the pictures were taken at christmas so still young fish at the time.still breeding some and none showing that colour as yet
