No info at this time, I only have them for a couple of days.

I generated a phylogeny tree, just to see what they relate to and behold (attachment).... this likely means we cannot breed it.phyl_bal.pngImage Enlarger

(Incidentally if the tree is totally correct -- this needs to be checked on more than one gene, I only had cytb data -- S.wui is actually a hemimyzon).

Very shy so far! I've only got 4, and they're the only fish in the tank. After 2 days I see the first one out feeding this morning.

Nay, they still have some left.... so if anyone from the US is reading this, it may be one chance in the lifetime to try the fish.

I only got 4. Still in quarantine. I've had a horrible outbreak of (ich?) in my 75 gallon botia tank, introduced by the previous occupants of the Q-tank, d. rohani. So keeping a close eye on them and trying to decide how to treat them. They are still shy but look healthy and feed on the rocks & tank glass. I see one spot one a pectoral fin. This has me worried! I'm guessing that they don't like salt.

In terms of learning that Super-Ich of yours is more valuable (I have an idea here to discuss with your later --not about treatment or urgent) than any loach... albeit I really hope it does not spread to hillstreams.

As for the salt... not totally clear... I vaguely recall something about sinogastromyzons tolerating it, this is a close relative.

Interesting fish. Did their behavior change after period of adaptation to the tank?

We are waiting for new fotos.

Mine are slightly bolder. Not easy to photograph but I'll see what I can do. I've been leaving them alone hoping they'd come out more.
