Since the last 2 days i see one of my Discus bobbing in the water. He faces downwards and bobs up and down.I wonder what could be wrong with him(if anything). He eats well and if i go near the tank even comes forward looking for food. But when left to himself he goes back to bobbing. He must be 4months old and is about 3inches in size.
Please advise and help as i'm worried. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
Thanks,
Shiv

it sounds like it's swim bladder has over inflated and the discus if fighting to stay down or it's taken to much air with its food.

hi matey, if it's the swim bladder i've heard not done it myself that epsom salts has worked for a few people.
if it's because the fish has taken too much air in with it's food then it should just fart it out.
corys are pigs for letting farts go after they've eaten.
