Again not the most colourful fish but really elegant and graceful , I've had a thing about Lobo's since the mid 80s when I found a couple of L. quadrilineata's another beauty /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> the only problem is they are scale eaters in captivity , but there is a way around that , keep them with smaller fish ,mine are in with some Yunnanilus Crusiatus and various Spiney Eels ,they usually come in with Crossocheilus sp/s , but can't really be kept together in an aquarium because the Lobo's will constantly chase and peck at them , though they do have chasing sessions amongst themselves I never see any damage !

Very cool. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Do scales form part of the natural diet Andy, and if so what do you feed them instead?

Hi Matt ,according to our Thai friends they eat algae in the wild ? mine just get a mixed diet of dry and frozen foods and seem to thrive on it ,they aren't fussy eaters and seem easy to care for !

These are the one's Mick got from Pier Aquatics ,you never know another type might turn up in a future shipment /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Originally I had eight but lost one a good while back ,they are very quick at times so I guess its possible they can hurt themselves hurtling around their tank , they remind me of little sharks the way they swim and posture /wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wub.gif" />

Andy, did you read my pm about your enormo-pics filling your attachment space too quickly (as well as borking my internet connection. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="Laugh" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />)?

Will fix these now. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
