Hi, guy's. I could use some advice here. As some of you might already know I am a night-owl and that's been rubbing off on my fancy goldies. The light goes on when I wake up and that's around elevenish (european time plus one) I like to watch my fish until I fall asleep and that sometimes is at 2 oclock in the night. To prevent my fish from making too many hours, I turn off the white light and switch to pink/purple light. That light however comes from beneath, it is in a light unit that lays behind my 120 L tank and it has a bit a sunset-effect. Now, because I am a buddhist I love doing Zen art, also in my tank. In the middle of my tank against the back, I have stacked up lots of round white pebbles and on top off that there are a couple of transparant large marbles. As there is no background image, just a bronze silk cloth on the wall directly behind the tank, the pink light shines through the marbles and that gives such a wonderful playful light. But my demolition/acrobatic goldies just love to create "marble- avalanches" ( They break off everything I build, so I am forced to stay creative and I love that). To prevent any accidents and casualties I need to somehow "glue " those marbles together, but I need to know what type of glue I can use that doesn't harm my fish. Any thougths or suggestions?
(ps, there are no pictures as I don't have a camera.)

how about some aquarium silicone? (its normal silicone used for DIY aquariums but safe for fish - check on its side that it is safe for fish (usually has a fish symbol))

some types of superglue could be used but as Karlos said, silicone is better, more flexible too /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
What I'd suggest is, get a box or something with a back and silicone them into postion against it (don't silicone them to the box) and leave for a couple of days to cure then you should be able to lift it all up and place in the tank /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
We'll expect photo's of course /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Yay! I'll make a pyramid of glass marbles. That's such a wonderful idea! (dances around in her wheelchair) Thanks so very much!

Hi, Malti. I am not realy into Egypte, India always gets my attention.
I have been on your Photobucket account and took home some wonderful Betta pic's. To me it seems pretty much impossible to get the fish on your picture, huh? They're not realy in the "posing-mode", always in and out of the pic but never realy completely in it. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_ <" border="0" alt="dry.gif"> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="Laugh" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> I'll do my best though.

I wish to go to India sometime, maybe do some voluntary work there. I'll have to charge you for the betta pics...thats like a smile for each /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> well the fish don't really like to pose, but usually dart around, - take hundreds of pics and keep a couple dozen ones, I'll be adding more this week, feel free to take what you like /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> and very eager to see what you do with them /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
