the fish i'm gonna add are:

marble hatchet fish x6

freshwater flounder x5

small coryx2

bumblebee goby x5

plants:

a little bit of water sprite

any suggestions? what do you think? anything would be helpfull :)

Hi there,

I personally think that with flounders, cories and bubelbees the footprint of a standard 15 gal is a bit too small. As I mentioned before, even the smallest hatchets should have at least a run of 100 cm, everything below that will seriously restrict them in their natural behaviour.

If you could make, or have somebody make, a tank 100x30x20 cm, you'd be only marginally above your 15 gal and could easily acommodate the species you mention.

Regards

R.

If you must insist on living in a box ...... at least do your thinking outside.

Hi Ederhak, is the tank supposed to represent an estuarine environment, and which species of flounder are you looking at?

Cake or death?
