My cutteri cichlids spawned 5 days ago in a cave at the back of the tank
so I couldn't get any pics, but here's a few pics of the parents and fry...

The parents that spawned 5 days ago...

You can see a couple of fry to the left of the female
just beside the drift wood, the rest of the fry are hiding
in the substrate...

To try and show how well they are camouflaged here's a close up
of the substrated, if you look carefully you can see the fry...

Third attempt? Bit like me trying to spot the fry - thought you were winding us up for a minute! /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

There's two just to the left of centre (I think).

Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

I'd guess a couple of hundred mate, not bad for a first spawn.

Eyrie if you look at the pics full size you'll be able to see the fry.

Not sure that they have one Karlos. The genus is Cryptoheros.

They´re related dude. Cryptoheros nigrofasciatus is a junior synonym of what is now Amatitlania nigrofasciata, aka the convict. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
