Im wanting to change up my fish' diet.

Ive got Angels, Barbs, Tetras and 2 plecos.

I can only get my fish to eat blood warms.

Im trying to feed Mysis shrimp, Mosquito larvea, blood warms, tropical flakes and NLS pellets.

The Angels will not touch the Shrimp, Larvea or NLS pellets.
Im trying to get them on a healthier diet.

Any suggestions?

Yep, stop feeding them!

There are no fish there that will not accept a good quality fish flake so let them go hungry. A healthy fish will easily go a couple of weeks without food so my suggestion is to give them 2 or 3 days with no food at all then start adding small amounts of flake and fishing out what they dont eat after an hour or so. Keep this up and they will move across onto a healthier diet

Cheers
Colin

They eat flake food and blood worms fine.

I know blood worms are not very healthy for them.

So Stop feeding them and then introduce them to the Shrimp, Larvea and Pellet food ive got?

After leaving them without food for three or four days, only feed them the foods that they are currently ignoring. Once they get used to eating those you can mix up the diet with different foods on different days.

Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

Ive got some very pick fish you might say.

No food for 4 days, my 2 adult Angels wont touch the pellet food, Shrimp or Larvae.

Most other fish eat the Larvae and Shrimp.
The 4 other Angels are eating Shrimp and Larvae.

Try your plecs on peas (cooked & shelled) or courgette (Zuchinni?) Slice & cook but dont overdo it.

How is everyone cooking the Zuchinni?

Ive been sticking it on forks raw and they seem to go crazy over it, same for the snails.

I cook the zuchinni (in a small amount of water in the microwave). The only reason for cooking it is because it then sinks on its own /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
