the plec is a gibbiceps mate, they can get to over 24 inches long, the other fish is a black widow tetra long finned sport.

Yep, following on from the other thread that plec will need rehoming too mate. They grow like stink and poo incredible amounts. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> What happened to it by the way it looks pretty torn up?

he was in a small tank...with couple other fish...

now he's better though, even his colouring, will update pics soon

They sure do. I "rescued" a 2" gibbiceps about 6 months ago. He's now almost 7" and I've not made ant effort to grow him on at all. I really wish people wouldn't import them and would recomend an ancistrus species to "clean algae" in LFS. These things change from vegetation to meaty foods as they grow and don't even eat that much algae when young!
