Any other symptoms other than odd looking poo? Any others affected? Speaking only from experience of goldies, stringy poo can have many and varied causes, it's one of those things you have to take in context with other symptoms, water quality and diet /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> What else is going on?

Hey posh.

Well, there are no other symptoms or odd behavior of any kind. All the fish are acting and feeding normally. The water is fine.
The otto in question is eating as well as ever and there was no more strange poo, so I guess it wasn't anything parasitic???

If no others are affected, there are no other symptoms and the oto is eating well I'd personally not worry about it this time /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Could have been something as simple as an upset stomach for some reason. If it recurs then have another look at things.

Thanks a lot posh.

Some time has passed and happy to report no more strangeness in the tank. All the fish are doing good /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
