Thanks Robert , Yeah I love em /thumbs_up.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="thumbs_up.gif" /> I got mine from Pier they've grown well and seem to get on with each other , a few people experienced a little aggression with these ,but mine get on great , I think as long as they have enough space they are fine !

They are obviously closely related to P. denisoni ,but aren't as delicate ,in my experience , well worth trying /wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wub.gif" /> .

hi andy
Bit of a question mate,a local fish keeper is giving me 6 p.denisoni,no longer wants them.
What's the best set up for them,I have a four foot tank spare at the moment.
It's is running at 24'degrees,and has a eheim external filter running on it and sand for substrate.will this be ok for them? They are only about an inch in size.

Hi Rob ,can't see a problem with the tank setup /thumbs_up.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="thumbs_up.gif" /> Denisoni can be a bit delicate when being rehoused , though to be fair my experiences with Denisoni is limited , the Chalak's seam a bit hardier /thumbs_up.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="thumbs_up.gif" /> but with the Den's being quite small should be in your favour ? I like to keep my Barbs between ph 7.0 to 7.5 which seems to suit them , good luck .

If anyone can get a clear, detailed image of P. chalakkudiensis I'd love to do a profile on it - been looking for ages!
