Thanks guys! I have 2 balteata Mark, almost indentical, and they've been glowing red lately. The pic doesn't near do it justice. I've been trying to capture it but that's the best I've done so far.

Yes Matt, histrionica. I have 3 older histies whose stripes are beginning to break up. The fish in the 2nd & 3rd pic is a newer, younger addition. They grow sooo much faster than the kubotai IME. Do others have the same experience?

Yeah I have found that the histies do grow quite a bit faster than the kubotai and the majority of other Botia's.
