Good evening everybody, you ask why this research ...
All simply, I am now preparing a topic on the futur barrage of the river Congo.

Many fish species will disappear and it is important to know if they are reproduced.

The few Zaire (Congo) River fish I have are:-
4x Steatocranus casuarius (had a batch of 14 fry, 13 made it to 8 months and then passed on)
1x Synodontis brichardi
1x Synodontis decora

Constantly juggling mainly African riverine fish between 6 tanks, from 54 to 566l in size!

I have Barbus candens and Barbus hulstaerti. Not sure if they are found in The Congo itself though.

Yes, but I cannot tell you if the dam built upstream 'll disrupt what is below the dam.

However, it is interesting to set up an information on the fish habitat.
That's why I created this tool: http://www.aqualifestyle-franc.....com/t7776-...aquatic-species

you understand what I'm trying to develop?
