oh wow, two superb fish to have. been on the lookout for the Doryichthys for sometime, but no one gets them up my way,lol.
good luck with them.
any info on water conditions, feeding etc as i know they can be difficult to keep?

Hi Keith, I can get them from time to time but they are more expensive than D martensii, which I have kept.

I kept mine in a blackwater set up with a pH of about 4.5 to 5.5 and fed them live BBS and daphnia - no matter how many times I tried they would not go onto grindal worms! If you keep them like wild bettas you wont go far wrong, I actually kept young Betta coccina with them

I just came back from Hannover "the art of the planted aquarium" and bring back Phenacogrammus breuseghemi /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.

Thanks You all for info and Danionella paper Matt:)

It is hard to find data about envionmental codintions D. boaja so if u have any papers with ... I will be grateful.
