Wiley now has an Open Access website that launched this year. Hopefully we'll soon see some journals relevant to our hobby /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Whilst on the subject of open access journals, here's another that I look at occasionally:

PLoS ONE

Again, this is more ecology weighted towards marine /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I have access to most of Wiley's catalogue and there is plenty of good stuff but as Gareth says mostly biology, ecology and systematics rather than new species descriptions (although there are quite a few). These are the journals I find most useful:

Journal of Fish Biology
Ecology of Freshwater Fish
Journal of Applied Ichthyology
Freshwater Biology
Journal of Evolutionary Biology
Fish and Fisheries
Biological Journal of the Linnaean Society
Zoological Journal of the Linnaean Society
Acta Zoologica
Journal of Morphology
Zoosystematics and Evolution
