Thanks, here is a bucket pic of the young newts from last year. Pic is from today, I have cleaned their tanks and the whole crew must move into the bucket for a while... :) Now I have sorted them by size in three tanks.

Besides the eastern newts I have get a subspecies Notophthalmus viridescens louisianensis (central newt) since a week ago. The origin is Florida (Gainsville) but my animals are all breed in captivity.3 x cb 2015 and 4 x cb 2014.

After some investigation I have to say that my new subspecies is N. v. piaropicola instead of N. v. louisianensis.
