found an interesting group of shrimp today in a dealers tank,
I think they may be Back-Line C. Shrimp ,Please could some one let me know.
The interesting thing is all but one of the shrimp were female , all were in berry and there was young on the bottom of the tank. They were named as Chameleon shrimp.
After 2hr of buying 8 and putting them in their own tank I have a plantonic cloud of dozens of babies drifting through the water and attached to the glass .
Any advice folk ?
Adults any ideas ?

Larva on tank glass .

I've been told their Amanos though they lack lines and only have a few spots.
So I'm now wondering if I should make a saline set up and get a fine net or not LoL
Thanks for the reply Richy their about 1.25" long.
All the best,
John

Well done John. Never even kept these but there's a decent-looking article here. Best of luck!

Hi Richy,
The larva could be seen in dwindling numbers till about 5 days after they hatched. I'm not going to set up another tank for them but may try experimenting with what temps they can tollerate . I think theyed might enjoy a nice geen tank outside LoL
All the best,
G.John
