I've beat you Keith and G.John /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
I had noticed over a few weeks 3 of mine were berried up but the berries dissapeared. Tonight I put the light on and wiped the outside glass to take some pics and spotted the dots scooting about /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
Since they all came from the same shop then hopefully you'll both have babies aswell soon, good luck /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Cheers for the replies but I don't have a good enough macro to get pics of these minute shrimp, smaller than a pinhead right now.
Gimme a few days as I'm looking into getting a new photographic gadget /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
I did get some shots of females with a webcam but it's the babies i want to get.

I'm speculating that they're the yellows because i've never seen any berries on the CR's that I got from John (cheers /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> ) and the 3 blues which is all what was left after Doug and John raided the shop!!
Yellows, yes I've seen a couple berried for a few weeks but can't see any berried now. I'll just have to wait and see but I'm hopefull /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
The eggs seemed to be a brownish colour when being carried.

Very cute mate. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Could they have hybridised with any of the others if they're in the same tank?

They're safe with the Cr's but not with the blues, saying that though, the blues(dark) seem to be female but no berries and have only been in 1 week.
Crystals and cherry sp can be mixed but really best to only keep 1 of each type together are totally seperate. The 3 blues will be moved to the other tank with 15 blues in /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I'll get pics at a later stage when they colour up /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

you asked for it and if you moan more i'll move it back to a tank with fish in /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
It might end up on the tank with the Macrobrachium Pillmanus in soon instead /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

hi mate, still to young to tell what the young will look like, but i'm not convinved these are artficially coloured, there is a fair bit of info on the net about blue caridina/neocaridina sp although i'm not convinced i have these. their colour is very dark and there looks like there may be more than one species in the group.
will try and get some pictures asap
