This is a tank I've got set up to try and resemble a hill stream-type environment. I've got a high power internal filter and a 1000 lph powerhead at one end of the tank. These give a turnover of about 15 times per hour. As it stands the flow is mainly down the back of the tank, but the fish seem pretty chuffed with it!
Tank:

Residents:

Garra flavatra

Schistura sp. cf balteata. Have 6 of these boys. Some of them have very intense pink and yellow colouration while others are more indistinct, like this one.

Sewellia sp. "spotted". This undescribed species came in as a contaminant among a batch of S. lineolata.

Inlecypris auropurpurea. 6 of these gorgeous little cyprinids.

I've also just added two unidentified Annamia to the tank. They're still too shy to photograph, so I'll update with some pics later.

You got the Sewellia! Great choice mate, they looked so stunning in the shop tanks.

Those Inlecypris are looking smart now too; colours really coming out.

No mate, I hadn't. The last addition I saw was the Garra. Looking class though, I'd definitely consider a fast-flowing setup if I had space for another tank.

Those Sewellia were gorgeous. The loaches too - just a shame they weren't as easy to see as you'd hoped :/

They weren't but feeding time was fun! I miss that tank, and the other fast-flowing one with the Teleocichla /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Thanks Graeme!
