Let's start with some cute bulldozers; Stigmatogobius sadanundio.
These are very greedy fish.

It is a long time since I kept these but they were a great fish, that second pic is great.

Is that the form of filamentosus with the very red belly? Think Pier had these in a while back. Superbly-conditioned fishes all Henri!

When I bought P. filamentosus 9 months ago they didn't show much colour.
I hardly could distinguish males from females.
After a few months they coloured up very nicely.
The males don't show the red belly every day and when they do, it's only in the morning when they chasing the females.

Currently I have 7 tanks, so more pictures will follow. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Lovely fish & great shots Kajsa! What camera/lens are you using? Lighting?? The head shot of the badis is especially nice!

Ooh love all the Badis! I recently had a batch of young B. ferrarisi die in transit to Spain. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> The one you're not sure about looks like B. assamensis to me - B. blosyrus has a more elongate, predatory-looking snout. Have you checked the Knowledge Base?

QUOTE

I use a second-hand Canon Powershot A710 IS.
I don't know much about photography so I'm just trying.
I only use the aquariumlights and most of the time no flash.

@ Matt

Yes, I've seen the knowledge base. Also I've read the review of the Badidae and saw some pictures on petfrd. Still there are some doubts. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="Laugh" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
I found this fish in a tank full of Badis sp. "Buxar" in my lfs.

I'd say you're"trying" is working out pretty well! I have much better gear but your pics are often better, especially with existing light. I've been trying to get better photos of the stiphodon without the flash.
