Nice Matt. What species are you keeping now?

How do you get your tank water so clear and free of algae btw? /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="Laugh" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Yup I'm testing out a prototype. Doesn't filter the tanks very well but the bedroom is bloody freezing! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="Laugh" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Just the Aphanius and Cualac still Gustav but if I manage to find a Salaria fluviatilis population somewhere around here I'd like to try them. The water is so lovely and clear due to my 'special' maintenance techniques by the way. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Here's a vid of the adult mento group feeding; you can just make out the colours of the males:

Pulled many Cualac eggs yet?

Rahul am I to understand you were hoping for pictures of my 'other' equipment? /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Yeah got about 30 or so Cualac growing on in one of those smaller tubs up top and I think there are a few survivors in with the adults but it's difficult to see. I could collect more eggs but I guess the bigger fry will eat the smaller ones. They grow quite slowly compared to the Aphanius so I might only be able to collect one more batch this year I think although I have no idea what I'm going to do with 50 or 60 fish that almost nobody is interested in. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="Laugh" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
