Yes ladies and gentlemen, it's time for that game we all know and love ... Pick a Fish! The rules are simple ... I have an empty tank with specific parameters ... you pick a fish to go in it /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Yes, I'm being somewhat silly, but it's late (early) and I'm feeling whimsical.
At any rate, I have a fully cycled, fully matured tank. It is currently empty due to the moving around of some fish to my other tanks. This particular tank is somewhat problematic in choosing a fish type for it.
It is a 5.5-6 gallon hex, so has a somewhat awkward footprint. It is heavily filtrated for its size with an AC20 on it. Also due to the larger filter and its particular shape, it has a pretty strong water flow. Fine sand substrate, big ol wad of flame moss. One rock. Soft water.
I'm not necessarily looking to breed in this tank, so solo fish are fine. The initial response when playing this game is for folks to say "Get a betta" ... which is .... ok. However, not exactly preferable due to the strong flow.
So, seeing those parameters, what would you pick? /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
