Hi everyone.

We have just noticed that 2 of our Tiger Barbs seem to be kissing. they are nipping at each others mouths and gills. could this be a courtship or teritorail conflict?

We checked the knowledge base but it just dosent seem to have anything about it /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

This sounds like a dominance battle between two male fish guys. In small groups tiger barbs will form a pecking order with one fish at the top and rival males will often challenge each other for that top spot. Definitely not love I'm afraid....

I've seen my male rainbows do this after a water change. A water change to a rainbow means "oh boy it rained! Let's have a spawning orgy!"

So I think it's males thinking bad thoughts..right guys?

and by the way, everyone was nice to me when I didnt know that Leed's was a CITY not a Dept. store /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> so new guys dont always get flamed

You're the one who said "let's not blame the new guy and nick his dinner money!" /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
