Hello,got one question...
When I was changing the gravel in my tank, from black gravel (2-3mm) to beach sand,I found litlle yellow "balls" in the gravel (around 20 of them). When I destroyed one of them it looked like the balls were folicles and were holding a lot of tinny litlle eggs...Unfortunatelly I wasn`t thinking about what it was and just threw them away...werry angry at myself grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
Now I`m dieing to know what that was,did someone found something like this in their own tank?????
Don`t have any snails accept neritinas and anentome helenas in the tank...Anyone got a clue????If I find some more I`ll take some pictures...
tnx

Not had anything similar, but snail eggs would be my guess as well.

Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

neritinas and helenas don`t reproduce by laying eggs in the gravel...that was my guess at first also,but...not it

tricky one if by yellow you mean green and you have kuhli loaches that could be the answer but they dont really bury them in the gravel. what fish and inverts do u have in there/ /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

no,I mean yellow like a sun-flower /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> and yes I have kuhli loaches.could that be it?!
other fish are tateurndina occelicauda, nannostomus marginatus, trichopsis pumilus, kuhli loaches with cherry, amano and bamboo shrimp some neritinas and helenas...and thats it...and now when I wreally wreally wonna know what it is-can`t find no more (well wasn`t looking for them for two or three weeks :/ )
some colleges said that it could be from tropicas fertiliser but I don`t use that.
tnx /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

could be!!!nice picture by the way /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> the only thing that I`m sceptic about is that I do have 3 kuhli loaches (possiblly black khuli loach ??) that are about 10 cm in lenght and the eggs had 2mm accross-looks like a follicle with a harder shell and contains a large number of small eggs.doesn`t make any sense I know...well tomorow is the D day and I`m going to clean aquarium and hoppefully will find some again..if I do pictures will be here /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> tnx again
