    see what you guys think. these were taken as RAW, altered using photoshop CS4 and saved as jpeg. i like this programme. some of these fish were less than an inch long. i must get a macro lens soon (need to save up first,lol)

    luvly pics mate, although 2nd one has a reflection through it, and 1st one u forgot to clean the sides

    Oh man some stunning fishes there. Especially like the Crenuchus, the Channa and the pike cichlids. Are the Sewellia breeding now Keith as those look quite young?

    Ps – can we get a full species list?

    it a Crenuchus spilurus , a fab sailfin characin. these photos were taken at the recent tyne tees open show. got to get to grips with the reflections, going to try black card at the front and back of the tanks to see if it will help reduce the reflections.

    the sewellia are not mine but Bedes. mine still need to get it together,lol

    okey dokey.
    the fish list
    sewellia lineolata
    crenicichla but can’t remember which one.
    Sailfin Characin ( Crenuchus spilurus)
    synodontis , not sure which one.
    angelfish
    xiphophorus helleri guntheri
    platy
    guppy
    channa sp, don’t know which one
    melanotaenia australis
    alfaro cultratis, the knife livebearer.
    crenicichla again.
    wish i had noted down the names, but was not able to with time constraints, plus i took these before judging started, so to many folk about.

    these were taken at the Tyne Tees open show held on the 21st september.

    the syno’s are either multipuncatus or petricola, my guess would be multi’s.
