    A very revealing abstract: http://vjs.ac.vn/index.php/vjbio/article/view/952

According to some Channa experts this, and 4 other described Channa, of which I have no link yet, they probably represent junior synonyms.

It’s only three new species, as the title says: “Classification characteristics of some fish species of the walking snakehead group of genus Channa (Channidae, Perciformes) and three new species in Vietnam”.

Maybe Palle was hinting towards more than 1 upcoming publication?
