Has Araiocypris batodes meanwhile turned up in the hobby? It doesn’t seem likely and is apparently difficult to catch, as they mention in the description (the type series consists only of 2 specimens): http://rmbr.nus.edu.sg/rbz/biblio/56/56rbz101-105.pdf

My thoughts exactly. I stumbled upon these during an Osun search and must admit I hadn’t heard of the genus or species before. A Google search gave me nothing other than it being a valid genus and taxon (the genus is monotypic by the way).

Yeah me too! It looks like a one-time-shipment-fish to me if it ever find its to a commercial import. Hopefully it will turn up some time.
