    Buxar??

Certainly looks like it??? But I was under the impression ‘Buxar’ referred to the Buxa National Park in West Bengal?

It does, so trying to find out if it’s Buxar or not. What it’s doing in the assamensis group is beyond me, especially if it is Buxar, which belongs to the cory group.

Still no answer as to whether ot not this is Buxar. As for it being the assamensis group; they base it on the blotch present on the gill plate. However, it’s not there at all in Buxar and I can neither discover it in the presented singenensis material. I think both (if they are not the same species) should be in the corycaeus group, or perhaps even their own if there’s enough proof and depending on the pores.
