I got a (in my opinion) gorgeous Betta today.
He is doing well, liking his tank and feeding

Sofia, don’t rush to get those tetras. Allow the filter to cope with the increased levels of organic waste produced by the fighter then think about adding new fish once things have settled down. This is one of the golden rules of fishkeeping; don’t stock too quickly.

Yes, that was what I meant when I said that this was pending the result of the water /smile.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:)” border=”0″ alt=”smile.gif” />

    very nice looking beta.
Matt is right, letting the filter adjust is the main thing at the moment.

Thanks and yes I am. He is gorgeous and the tank looks lovely with just him in anyway. I will get a few more plants for him to hide in today though /biggrin.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”:D” border=”0″ alt=”biggrin.gif” />

Oops. It’s not brine shrimp but dapgyna (Or so). He doesn’t like them either. What a picky fish

lol, many bettas can be picky, but he needs more than bloodworm as nourishment. try attisons betta food/betta pro. i feed all mine on it and they do great.
send me a PM with your address in and I’ll send you a few weeks worth, see if he likes it.

Does anyone know what type he is?

His colour has become even more intense and he is now happily feeding on Atkinson’s. Thanks Keith
