    Yeah definitely Hemichromis, I do remember a green form of Jewel Cichlid labelled as Hemichromis lifalili that looked very similar to that.

    H. lifalili should always have a red body colouration though I think. Methinks this might be the undescribed H. sp. ‘neon’ which may or may not be a hybrid. Ross can you try to get a side profile shot of the fish?

    I don’t think Hemichromis are any more aggressive than other similarly-sized cichlids tbh mate.

    H. paynei is a weird one because according to the Lamboj book it has probably never been exported so I’m not sure how these came to be labelled as aff. paynei. Not a lot of info about on either of them.
