    Hi Guys,

I have been in touch with a person who is able to source me the true Channa diplogramma he says. Problem is I have never seen one in person and have been told that at juvenile stage they can often be mixed up with Channa micropeltes and as he also has Channa micropeltes it becomes all the more important for me to know what does a juvenile 3-5 inch Channa diplogramma look like. If anyone here can help me either with pics or even just a description it will be really appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

We had C. diplogramma in once and as juveniles they seemed identical to C. micropeltes to the extent that the vast majority of people who saw them doubted the id was correct. From memory the two black stripes on the body are comparatively thinner than in C. micropeltes and the base body colour is closer to orange than red.
