characodon lateralis ‘los pinos’ Durango. Mexico, one of the goodeid group of livebearers.
got these about a year ago, as yet still not named.
had a female drop about 12 fry a few days before my holidays.
not sure how many folks have these in the UK.

April 24, 2009 at 8:29 am #313505i keep my los berros in a large group, males can be a bit bullyish, but plenty of cover and they will be fine, i leave my fry in with the adults too.
