Absolutely. It’s depressing how the same few species appear to be successful almost anywhere they’re introduced.

Another set of pics and videos from another trip last weekend.

My friend Marcus Knight, trying out my DIY folding net.

    Mystus bleekeri

    Parambassis sp

Puntius sharmai adult – Have never seen one as big. This was 1.5 inches TL!

An injured Puntius chola / P. orphoides

    A dead P. chola / orphoides

Hemichromis sp with their valued possession

The Dwarf E. maculatus with fries

A short video of the Dwarf Etroplus with the fries. The size of the fish is comparable to my finger in the video; am a small built person though! : )

Hemichromis guarding the fries. The pair dared the camera, towards the end of the vid. View Original Movie

    Hope you liked them. Cheers!

The Parambassis is beautiful Shankar. About the Lepidocephalichthys you posted earlier (just spotted it). L. maculatus maybe?

    Awesome videos.

    I wish there were some way I could get my hands on the Dwarf Etroplus <img src="style_emoticons//wub.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”” border=”0″ alt=”wub.gif” />

    Thank you for sharing!
