Family Goodeidae Genus Ataeniobius, is found in temperatures of 10-22C (50-71F), Allodontichthys, Alloophorus, Allotoca, Chapalichthys, Characodon, Girardinichthys, Goodea, and Hubbsina, are found in temperatures of 18-22C (64-71F). Ameca, Illyodon, and Skiffia are found in temperatures of 18-25C 16-77F. Neoophorus, Xenoophorus, Xenotaenia, and Xenotoca, are found in temperatures of 22-25C (71-77F. Zoogoneticus is found in temperatures of 22-29C (71-85F).
Family Poecilia Genus Brachyrhaphis 22-23C (71-73F), Gambusia, 15-30C (59-86F), Limia zonata 20c (68F), Phallichthys 20-30C (68-86F), Poecilia some are found as low as 20C (68F), Poeciliopsis 22-25C (71-77F), Priapella olmecae 21-27C (69-71F), Priapichthys annectens 18-22C (64-71F), Pseudopoecilia austrocolumbiana 23-25C (73-77F), Scolichthys greenwayi 20-24C (68-75F), many Xiphophorus are found at temperatures from 20-24C (68-75F). X. variatus has been found in waters as low as 17C (62F)
