Are these freshwater copepods? I’ve noticed alot of them on the glass of the shrimp tank.

I’ve never noticed them in any of my tanks before, these are only about 1mm across.

Cyclops are copepods and are omnivores; they eat algae and detritus.

Very similar to Daphnia and make ideal live food.

might be the same Karlos. These are less than 1mm in size but i moved a webcam close and altered the lens to get a good closeup. Macro on my digi cam can’t pick em up but this did.
These are tiny dots, skittish and jumpy, dart about the glass very fast.
I thought I had yellow shrimp babies on the wood but starting to wonder if it’s just these?
