Discherodontis lhalei ,often refered to as Puntius somphongsi ,I remember reading about them in an old book ,it claimed they were the rarest Thai freshwater fish ,I think this has been well disputed since

Thanks Colin , I have Steve [thedarkone] to thank he alerted me and picked them up for me , they’ve grown well , and are quite hardy and don’t seem to be as delicate as D.ashmeadi in the handling [netting] although they are fine too once they are acclimatised

Ashmeadi seem to die if they loose scales during netting /thumbs_up.gif” style=”vertical-align:middle” emoid=”” border=”0″ alt=”thumbs_up.gif” />
