I’m changing one of my tanks over to Goldfish and am slowly getting things ready, and reading all I can before I go ahead.

I’ve just seen that Tetra make a dechlorinator especially for Goldfish. Is this really necessary? I’ve already got the ordinary Tetra Aquasafe which I usually use when I’m cycling a tank, and also Seachem’s Prime which I always use on established tanks. As the tank is mature won’t this do?

Absolute nonsense that product. In my opinion, of course.

Agree with Matt, you don’t need a special dechlorinator just for goldfish!

Just make sure that it also deals with chloramine if that’s used by your water company.
