    Does anyone here know anything about this fish? We’ve just got the one pic of it and zero additional info.

    Brief description is here.

    Barbels absent; snout blunt, round; supraorbital groove present; infraorbital process IO1 absent; lateral line
    complete; approx. 9-10 lateral bars; fine dark granulation on fins (no stripes).

    mentioned here too, while not included in the phylogeny tree the authors seem to believe that it is closely related to D. auropurpureus.

    Cheers Mike. Have received confirmation that it’s the same fish we currently list (incorrectly) as Devario jayarami. Both should be combined under purple cypris so will organise that today at some point.
