    my 2217 seems to be quite noisey is this likely to suggest that it needs a new impeller

    Try unplugging/plugging the power a few times. Be sure all fittings & seals are secure so it’s not sucking air. The only time mine makes a sound is after cleaning when there’s air trapped in it.

    Also try tipping it from side to side a bit. I find that when I clean my 2215, it can somtimes get air trapped in it.

    Have you checked the impeller? I’ve heard of the shaft of the impeller assembly being broken.
