    A week ago I picked up the last three darters here in a shop. It is 2.1 and the first time for me to keep them.

    Nice small perches all in all :)

    I’m jealous! Do these require a period of lower temperatures?

    What I’ve read about it, yes. A few weeks at 10-15° C. I will overwintering them together with my Barbatula and Phoxinus.

    Probably a good idea but not required *for keeping*. I keep a group for a few years (4? 5? forgot :( ) without winter temps dropping below 20c.
